SAVORY PRAWNS SALAD


Dear Jim, I know it is the summer in Australia now, I am sure you will enjoy our Thai-Choice Special Salad : delicious and refreshing !

Ingredients

  • Prawns                                           200 g
  • Chilli                                              1
  • Thai-Choice Fish Sauce                    1 Tbsp
  • Shallot                                           50 g
  • Lemon Juice                                   2 Tbsp
  • Sugar                                            1/4 tsp
  • Mint Leaves                                    20 leaves
  • Thai-Choice Minced Lemongrass       2 Tbsp

Directions

  1. Wash shell and devein the prawns. Immerse for a short time in boiling water, the prawns shoud be cooked until just done.
  2. Slice the chilli and shallots thin.
  3. In a bowl, toss the prawns with the lemon juice and Thai-Choice Fish Sauce. Add Thai-Choice Minced Lemongrass, chilli and shallots and toss to mix.
  4. Transfer to a serving dish and garnish with mint leaves.
  5. Best when eaten with abundant lettuces.
