SWEET & SOUR FRIED RICE


Dear Debby, It must be cold in Brisbane by now. Try this easy recipe to warm you.

Ingredients

  • Thai-Choice Jasmine or Parboiled Rice, cooked 4 cups
  • Chicken breast, cut into strips 250 g
  • Onion, diced 60 g
  • Capsicum, diced 60 g
  • Carrot, diced 60 g
  • Vegetable oil 3 Tbsp
  • Thai-Choice Sweet & Sour Stir-Fry Sauce ? bottle (135 ml)
  • Thai-Choice Fish Sauce   2 tsp

Directions

  1. Heat vegetable oil in wok or fry pan, add chicken and stir-fry until it is cooked.
  2. Add rice and Thai-Choice Sweet & Sour Stir-Fry Sauce. Stir well and toss briefly for about 2-3 minutes.
  3. Add all vegetables and stir well for 2 minutes. Serve hot.
  4. For extra flavour, mix together in a small dish 2 Tbsp of Thai-Choice Fish Sauce, a squeeze of fresh lemon or lime and finely chopped chillies. Sprinkle over the cooked fried rice.
