PINEAPPLE PIE


Dear Th?o, this is the famous recipe you tried in Thailand last month, now you can cook it in France!

Ingredients

  • Ready made puff pastry 2 pieces (360 g)
  • Thai-Choice Crushed Pineapple in Syrup 1 can(565 g)
  • Lime juice 1 tsp
  • Egg 1
  • Sugar 1/2 cup

Directions

  1. Heat Thai Choice Crushed Pineapple in Syrup over a medium flame.  Stir until the pineapple syrup is almost dried up, add lime juice and set aside.
  2. Cut 2 pieces of ready made puff pastry into 6-10 cm. 
  3. Line pie mould with the puff pastry. Fill the mould with the pineapple stuffing, place another piece of pastry over the top  and seal firmly. Brush top of the pie with some egg wash.
  4. Preheat the oven to 165?C and then bake the pie for 20 minutes or until golden brown. Top wih whipped cream.
